Meeting Minutes
Date: November 7, 2018 (in lieu of October 31 due to Halloween)
Location: Town Hall Council Chambers, 7:00 – 9:00 pm
Attendance: 38
Featured Topic: Portfolio Review
The first hour of the meeting covered photos submitted for review by our members. This is the second review of 2018, and we are still working on the best way to proceed in order to maximize the overall experience. Possible photo enhancements were shown using Lightroom and Luminar.
Thank you to all who submitted photos for review! Even though there was not sufficient time to see all photos submitted, we will allocate a segment of our November meeting to show them so we can all share our collective work.
- Our Next outing will take place on Wednesday, November 14, at 2:00. We will be visiting the printing and framing facilities of Framecraft Ltd., in St. Catharines. Details are posted on our website calendar.
- Our Festive Luncheon of December is starting become a tradition! No monthly meeting is scheduled for December, but we will gather at JJ’s On the Docks, in Grimsby, for a festive luncheon. Date: Wednesday, December 12, at noon. Details are posted on our website calendar.
- 2019 Calendar: We are starting to plan our 2919 calendar. At this point, our monthly meeting location at the Town Hall Council Chambers has been secured for the year, and the same rate will apply until May, with a possible increase after that. To keep our meetings on Wednesdays, we had to move from the third Wednesday of the month to the second Wednesday of the month. All dates will soon be posted on our website so you can mark your own calendar. Again, we will take a Summer break in August (no monthly meeting), and December will be dedicated to our Festive Luncheon.
