What an awesome presentation!
Award-winning photographer and publisher Mark Zelinski presented a Power Point of photographs and stories from his ninth book “HEART OF TURTLE ISLAND: THE NIAGARA ESCARPMENT”.
Exquisite images brought focus to the environmental treasures of the magnificent Niagara Escarpment, celebrating the diverse Indigenous and settler communities that thrive along its rugged, curving path.
April Photo Project of the Month – Trains, Planes and Automobiles (+ boats)
With 18 participants, we had 32 great submissions that were enjoyed by the evening’s attendees. Thanks to Shirley Rawlings for managing the photo submissions, assembling the slide show with music accompaniment, and introducing the slideshow and next month’s assignment
Those who submitted a photo for the Photo Project of the Month qualified for a draw. The prize was a copy of the April edition of LensWork photo magazine (a $12.00 value). The lucky winner was Hans Voorberg. Congratulations, Hans!

May Project of the month – There is music in the air
The theme of our next Photo Project of the Month is “There is music in the air”, with a submission deadline of June 9, 2019.
All photos will have to be submitted as follows:

Photo size: Minimum 1600 px on the long edge.
