“Know Your Camera” Summer Series 2018
Last summer, we initiated a series of weekly gatherings to know our camera and improve/refresh on some photography knowledge.
We are repeating these 1:1 sessions this summer. The series is called “Know Your Camera“.
It seems that some of us could use some special attention, a refresher or a push to get into photography again.Come on over for a social time with a coffee and bring your camera and your questions. One of us will spend some time 1:1 with you and go over settings and other basic functions.
We will spend time practicing and taking some pictures of course.
If you are thinking about specific topics such as exposure, focus, metering, speed or aperture priority, composition, white balance, and even going manual, you can find some help and get to practice.
Sounds like something you might be interested?
Then check our website calendar for details on dates, time and location as well as the specific topic we will discuss and practice on.
We will start the 2nd week of July.
Bring Camera (DSLR, Point and Shoot, 4/3, Mobile Phone…whatever you have).
If you want to use your phone, then load some interesting apps like Camera+ and Snapseed.
If you have a manual, bring it too.
If you want to know how to use your tripod or monopod, bring it along.
You have a friend interested? Take him/her along.
Bring your beverage and if you wanted to share some “goodies” with us, we are always open to “interesting” treats.
This is social, informal and fun!
You will get paired with someone.
Hopefully 1:1 or 2:1
We should spend time practicing and taking some pictures of course.
See you this summer perhaps? Check the calendar for meeting places and time.
Thank You
Raymond
