When it gets dark, get outside and take pictures!

Astrophotography has been called the most difficult branch of photography.  After all, you can’t get any closer to your subject, and it’s rarely brightly lit – in fact in some cases, what you are photographing may even be completely invisible.  Exposures can range up to several hours in length, and often the focal length of your lenses are measured in metres.

And yet, even simple equipment can yield astonishing results.

Roger Hill, past president of the Hamilton Centre of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada will talk about photographing the Night Sky, and provide some techniques to get you started.

A $2 donation to recover our rental cost is appreciated.
