Talk description:
This presentation will provide a good basic understanding of the differences between shooting stills and video and how to create your own video.
This presentation answers most photographers’ common questions about video and provides much more than basic information without getting too heavy or technical.
This presentation is an online presentation that consists of two 40-minute videos and then I do a Q and A after.
Part 1 of the presentation reviews the natural progression from shooting stills to shooting video, then the basics of how to shoot video, what photography terms and conditions to apply, and what equipment to use-
Part 2 I go Into details of how to make a Video from the pre-production planning, the importance of storytelling, production (the actual Shoot) the difference between shooting the script vs scripting the shoot, and what happens on a movie set or on location such as a natural setting, and how you can adapt those ideas even when shooting a short video using your cell phone!
I also Talk about how to create a one-man production as well as a multiple-person collaboration and then I go Into post-production including video and audio editing the presentation ends with a talk about different ways to show your movie…:
