Photo Share – Notes from June 12, 2019
Monthly Meeting
June 12, 2019
Location: Town Hall Council Chambers, 7:00 – 9:00 pm
Attendance: 32
Topic: Group Photo Share
All annual members were invited to participate in a photo sharing presentation, and five of them showcased their photos:
Graham Sweeting – Travel photos from around the world
Cyndi Gardner – Children Portraits
Sandra Yemm – The once loved barns of yesteryear
Michael Groves – Travelling in the USA
Anna Fragapane – Glorious Marble
Each presenter had a 10-minute window to talk about a collection of photos they had put together for the audience.
It was a treat to see how much talent we have in our midst, and we are looking forward to our next photo share session in the Fall.
Plein Air session – Lakeside Pumphouse Artists’ Association
Doug Archer, painter and vice-president of the Lakeside Pump House Artists’ Association presented the group’s second season of “Tuesdays@10” plein air sessions, extending an invitation to photographers to join in.
This provides new venues to photograph our surroundings every Tuesday at 10:00 am, and we encourage everyone in our group to take advantage of it.
A sheet detailing the 2019 schedule was made available at the meeting, and an electronic copy will be also be published.
We are thrilled about the collaboration between both groups, and look forward to further initiatives!
